Shootings May Be Down in Chicago, but Murders are Actually Up

When you live in a big city like Chicago, you can’t help but pay attention to the crime rate, specifically the number of shootings and murders you might be exposed to on a regular basis.

After Record Year, Two More Murders Open 2017 in Chicago

Last month, we wrote a blog post about the high number of homicides in Chicago – our city was on track to see the most murders in one year since 1996.
